In November 2011, producer David McGillivray and director Ethan Reid went to New York to spend a week in the company of legendary filmmaker Peter de Rome. Whilst there, they captured the director talking about a variety of subjects ranging from his experiences as a salesman at Tiffany's to his fondness for UPS delivery men. But it was the contents of a locked box which held the most fascination, as de Rome granted privileged access to a treasure-trove of his never-before-seen Super 8 reels, including some of his very earliest film experiments.
