Notes
One of the perhaps thousands of film shorts produced during the nickelodian era of film making in the early 20th century, The [unnamed] director has managed to compress a 2½ hour play a bit, to just under 11 minutes (I guess that's "just a bit")· Yet it still provides an amusing romp· Most of the characters and plot eliments are present· The film may make more sense if you have reviewed the machinations of Shakespeare's story ahead of time· A Midsummer Night's Dream (1910) is mostly of interest for it's place in the early history of film.
