London, 1962. Two men strike up a conversation on a bench about life, sex and the hostile world they find themselves in as gay men. The conversation might be commonplace, but the language isn't, because the two men are speaking in Polari.

Notes
I enjoyed this film not so much for its cinematic quality, but for its subject - an example of Polari· In the deep dark reaches of my mind I sort of knew of a slang that was used between certain older homosexuals, particularly in Great Britain, for self identification and communication· But probably because I was American I never actually came in contact with it· It does require translation though; the "links" section contains a site with the dialogue explained.
