Every year, at our anniversary dinner, the Long Island Ravens MC distributes grants from our charitable and memorial funds to organizations that work with the Long Island GBLT community.

The purpose of our charitable fund is "to aid organizations supportive of the purposes of the Long Island Ravens M.C., including, but not limited to, organizations providing AIDS/HIV care and support."  We are especially interested in aiding grass roots organizations that provide direct support to individuals in the GBLT community on Long Island, and groups not usually supported by larger fund granting organizations.  Our funds are limited (typically a few hundred dollars to each group supported), so we want to see them go where they will do the most good.

If you are interested in a grant this year, please write us, answering the few simple questions on the Grant Application form.   You do not have to use this specific form, but we ask that you respond with paragraphs or sections numbered as found in the form.  You may find it convenient to copy and paste the form into an email message, and then fill it in (see note below).

The grants committee will be meeting late February or early in March, so we must receive your application by February 21, 2014.  All awards will be presented at our 22nd Anniversary Leather Ball Saturday, March 15, 2014.  Should you have any question, please contact our president* at president@liravensmc.org.

Note:  Inserting the form into an e-mail message when using Microsoft Internet Explorer is particularly easy.  With the Grant Application form open, select IE's "File" tab.  Then select "Send" -> "Page by E-Mail"  The form should then be inserted into the body of your default email application.  Simple fill in the form and E-mail it as above.
