Set in Saigon in the late 1980’s it’s the tale of a thuggish debt collector Dung ‘Thunderbolt’ (LIEN BINH PHAT) who without the hint of any emotion does the bidding of his shark-loan boss (KIM PHUONG). Dung is a real loner, the strong silent type, who’s whole life seems to revolve around beating up the hapless poor people who cannot afford the extortionate interest payments they were forced to agree to originally.

Embarrassed, he locks himself in the bathroom where he will find a sleeping guy he knows pretty well.	I loved this story, although I'm not sure what its about. On its face we see two guys who obviously known each other meet unplanned at a private party orgy. They clearly have been previously intimate. Beyond that, the story is ambiguous. I think its fun to interpret it as the afterlife, and that the interloper is perhaps dying and has to decide whether to stay or leave. It's fun to think of an afterlife being a sex orgy.
