A silent short movie, is a literal journey that we can experience. We are being taken to Avebury and given the chance to admire it for 10 minutes. The shots are incredibly beautiful, as we see a huge stone or trees bathed in orange light of sunset.

Notes
Avebury is a Neolithic henge monument containing three stone circles, around the village of Avebury in Wiltshire, in southwest England· While visiting a friend who lived nearby, Jarman hiked to the Avebury site taking Super-8 shots along the way· These were either filmed through a red-orange filter, or more likely, edited using a filter, to give the effect of sunset· The snapshot-like scenes are like what might be expected from any tourist, especially one who has a refined artistic sensibility· These images were to become a part of Jarman's later film In the Shadow of the Sun.
