Leo's dreams of being an international drag superstar are hard fought working in a fish cannery in Alaska. Alaska Is A Drag is preceded by the short film "The Kweenz of Kelston", about group of transgender students as they compete in an inter-school talent quest.

As of this writing (June 2016), it's a mystery as to why so many (of the few) IMDb voters disliked this film· I found it full of excitement and enthusiasm· True, being a relatively short-short, a great deal of character development is packed into 14 minutes· Perhaps this is one of the reasons Director Bennett is producing a full length feature· If she can carry through with the spirit of the short, the full length film should be a hit.
