Notes
God's Own Country" pretty much follows the path of "Brokeback Mountain"· Acting is excellent; perhaps a bit better than Brokeback· Setting is northern England· While the vistas are not as spectacular as the Rockies, they still inspire· Perhaps I shouldn't be making so many comparisons to Brokeback, but the history of filmmaking is replete with copycat films that stand on their own in greatness· God's Own Country is one of them.
