Notes
86th Academy Awards (2014) Matthew McConaughey, Best Actor; Jared Leto, Best Supporting Actor -- The first time I showed this film was in 2014 at a Ravens MC event -- Unfortunately , I had other duties to perform during much of its showing, so I decided to visit it again in 2016 -- It brought back memories of that particular era in the HIV/AIDS epidemic, before the disease was well understood, effective treatment protocols were nonexistant, and the processes that the FDA used to research, test and approve drugs was flawed and a part of the problem for AIDS patients.
