Notes
Apparently, I am not alone in being unable to figure out what this film is about; theories abound, a few of which may be found in the links section of this page, and many more in the IMDb commentaries -- Why this film is so highly regarded by critics and reviewers is a mystery to me -- Yes, I got it that much of the film (if not all) is illusionary, sureal inventions, dreams of a drug induced mind -- but to what purpose?
