Yossi is a Commander at an desolate Israeli outpost near Lebanon. He is however involved in a secret, passionate love affair with his second in command (nicknamed Jagger). The others in the unit react to their situation, suspecting, but not always understanding. The two often sneak off from the outpost to spend time together. A failed ambush during a full moon causes Yossi to finally express his love.

"Yossi and Jagger" is a well crafted story of war and love -- A tight plot, no doubt on a tight budget -- Told with straightforward simplicity and sensitivity -- It ended with me watching all the credits, in Hebrew -- I just wanted to continue savoring it.
