Notes
Check! After some forty years years of putting it off, I've finally seen John Waters' "Pink Flamingos" -- Another item on my bucket list done! --
While I've categorize this film as "Gay Themed", it is not fundamentally a gay focused film, but it is a high camp satire of our (American?) culture -- And even with all its hype, it is not the filthiest film I've ever seen -- You can find better done gore on American television any evening -- and a sojourn into the world of internet porn will quickly reveal that "eating shit" is not as rare as one might think --
This film is very funny! And this from someone who has never been a fan of camp -- The funniest sketch? -- I liked the singing ass-hole! I've known many ass-holes -- we are plagued with one who, at this writing, is running for President of the U.S.
