When square, prudish, engaged couple Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) stumble into a spooky mansion on a dark, stormy night, its flamboyant occupants, especially the sweet transvestite from outer space, Dr. Frank N. Further (Tim Curry), awake desires in them they didn't know they had. They arrive just in time to share the excitement at the mansion, including the creation of Dr. Frank N. Furter's beefy sex toy, Rocky (Peter Hinwood), the return of the lobotomized Eddie (Meatloaf), several musical numbers, and a plan for outer space adventure, as well as lots of sex in various shapes and sizes. |
