Notes
This 1974 film is said to have been one of the first full length feature films produced in the United States that dealt directly with homosexual relationships -- It has not worn well, and seems very dated to me -- It portrays accurately many of the gay cultural scenes and events of the middle 1970s --The discussions between the lovers about the nature of gay relationships and commitments was very much one of the cultural themes during this period, as gay folks became increasingly out -- Should queer folk be emulating an ideal male-female marriage model, or should there be a new queer heterodox? -- It is interesting to note that while this film was released in 1974, as of this writing (2017), it has received less than 500 rating votes at IMDb.
