If I hadn't read it in the producer's blurb, I would have had a hard time separating now from the past. Directors/writers seem to love jumping in with overlapping "then" and "now" even before we have the characters clearly established in our minds, although Charrier uses different actors in the two time periods· Once that was sorted out, I very much liked "Boys" (or "Jonas"- whatever)· High quality acting throughout· Good camera work. An engaging story·
