In Silver Lake, Los Angeles, Cal learns that Thom, his boyfriend of four years, has been cheating on him with Jeremy. Though upset, Cal decides that he does not want to end the relationship.

Thom (Van Hansis) and Cal (Kit Williamson, who also wrote and directed) are trying to cope with infidelity in their four-year relationship, and in Episode One of Eastsiders, Thom vows to end it with the perpetually-shirtless Jeremy (Matthew McKelligon). But is it that easy? Meanwhile, Cal drowns his sorrows with BFF Kathy (Constance Wu), who provides the right amount of sarcasm and shoulder to cry on, and has Thom pegged from the beginning.

Thom and Cal attend an "end of the world" party (featuring guest star Stephen Guarino), where spirits are consumed ... and a demon is confronted. Actually, the demon that's confronted is not the perpetually shirtless Jeremy, but what he represents, as Cal tries to drown his sorrows, and a bordering-on-callous Thom tries to diffuse the relationship bombs he's juggling. Meanwhile, we meet new character Ian (John Halbach), who is Kathy's easygoing boyfriend, and will wish it was the end of the world by the time the episode ends

Moving day. Kathy and Ian patch things up and then Kathy helps Cal pull his life together to say goodbye to Thom with dignity. Thom wakes up in Jeremy's apartment and makes a surprising discovery. Thom comes home to Cal and they finish packing up the apartment.
