Notes
While one could say that Teenage Kicks is just another teenage "coming of age" film, and that it is· But it is complex·, and more than a tale of teenage angst and hormones run amok· There is just so much going on with Miklós and his family that one can't help admire director Boreham's skill at minimizing the melodrama and keeping it all, more or less, believable· The acting was superb· The cinematography impressive·
Why the title Teenage Kicks? To me, the title suggest that it was just another teenybopper exploitation film· It's not.
