The plot of Romeu & Romeu pretty much follows the spirit of the original·
As in Shakespeare's play, the Chorus plays an important role in Romeu & Romeu - as a prologue to the film and introducing the episodes· As far as I can determine, the lines of the Chorus are based directly on Shakespeare's· Together with a flashback prolog, they set the scene for what comes next· Unfortunately, this at first was not clear to me, and only when I revisited the film, did I get it·
The quality of the Roku/Dekkoo stream was poor in spots, almost as if it was a pirated version· In some scenes, the video was faded and out of focus, and the audio had extended segments of poor fidelity· I am relatively new to Dekkoo, but I have not experienced problems before· I also spot-checked streaming to my PC; I did not see these issues·
Despite apparent mechanical difficulties, this is a fine film series,
