Notes
The movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" is loosely based on a non-fiction book by John Berendt -- The book, Berendt's first, was published in 1994 -- It became a New York Times Best-Seller for 216 weeks following its debut and remains the longest-standing New York Times Best-Seller -- I do not clearly remember how I first came in contact with this story, whether by book or movie -- but I think it was probably the book as there are details I recall that are not in the movie -- I revisited the film in 2016 -- It remains a tale that still haunts me -- One on the best movies of this genre that I have ever viewed.
