Notes
Dark Valley is indeed dark· It is in the tradition of the western where the mysterious superhero rides into town and redeems the oppressed· The plot is pretty obvious after the first ten minutes or so; and there is little mystery in the relationship between protagonist and villains· What saves this film is the cinematography -- which I assume to be the Austrian alps. And there is plenty of the red stuff splattered across white snow, if that is what you like.
