Three New York drag queens on their way to Hollywood for a beauty pageant get stranded in a small Midwestern town for the entire weekend when their car breaks down. While waiting for parts for their Cadillac convertible, the flamboyant trio shows the local homophobic rednecks that appearing different doesn't mean they don't have humanity in common.

Notes
Fun, satisfying and hilarious -- Second time around was as good as it was the first time -- Patrick Swayze, Wesley Snipes, and John Leguizamo give fine performances (they dress up well) -- Viewers in the NYC area are fortunately able to see John Leguizamo in multiple roles in a very funny advertisement for one of our local cable companies, Optimum (2017) -- If you don't blink, you may catch Robin Williams, Julie Newmar, RuPaul, and Quentin Crisp (among other notables).
