Notes
I suppose there is little question that Un Chien Andalou is a film that all inquiring cinema enthusiasts should experience at least once -- but why one should say that it is "good/better/best " escapes me -- It is just too Dada, expressing nonsense and irrationality -- I mostly admire experimental and avant garde films, and especially those writers and directors who attempt to express beauty (or nonbeauty), message, plot, and the art of cinema itself, in new and interesting ways allowing us to see and hear from different perspectives -- Perhaps if I live a few more years, gain more cinematic perspective, and view it again? … but for now, I just don't get it --
