Notes
As the film's plot evolves, I found myself pondering how the mystery of the disappearing men would be resolved (hopefully not by a cheap trick like alien abduction) -- The film starts strong and draws one into the setting of a mostly boring war of uncertain purpose -- It evolves into a psychodrama culminating in a series of strange, somewhat fantasical scenes suggesting mental imbalance -- The denouement is ambiguity.
