Notes
I haven't seen this film; conventional film industry models still believe that a film has to circulate among brick-and-mortar theaters before the general rabble public can view it. This film has been labeled "Controversial and Subversive" in queer communities. While the number of IMDb voters is greater than my "threshold" of 500 voters, most are at or near 1, and few at or near10, resulting is a polarizing low IMDb score. with little middle ground. The controversy seems to be mostly about a cis-male pretending to be a trans-male in order to have a relationship with a lesbian. Is this PCness gone wild? Originally I had little interest in this film, but now I'm very interested. Nothing like a good intramural fight to make for a little entertainment. BTW, the director is a trans male.
