As is often the case with short films, the set-up is missing, and it was not until I clicked to M. Google did I get it. Once explained (it's hard to tell from just the movie, since the actors are the same for each scene) It made sense. A humorouse commentary on the "hook-up" age, of which I am far removed - but which I frankly miss.
