Tours & Field Guides

Field Guides to several walking tours of the Brookhaven (Fire Place) and South Haven Hamlets have been prepared.  These guides, in Adobe Acrobat pdf format are available below.  As time permits, additional guides may be prepared.

These guides have been drafted on behalf of the Fire Place History Club by Marty Van Lith, Brookhaven Village Association Historian, and John Deitz.  The Fire Place History Club is an informal grouping of interested citizens that meets periodically at the Brookhaven Free Library for lectures, exchanges of information, and advocacy of community heritage issues.  Watch the Brookhaven Free Library newsletter, distributed to all South Country School District residents, for meeting announcements.
