1472 Many Middaugh and Longcor family tree information originally came from this compiled source. As a compilation, it appears most comprehensive of the Longcor family. Citations which appear in this published database are limited, but not nonexistant; he appears to be careful. While used for much of the original data entry sources for Longcor family tree in this database, at this time the Longcor family is somewhat of an ancillary interest to my primary research interests. I have not verified most of the information using independent sources. These entries were transcribe by hand (no automatic data import), and edited to conform to my data entry formats. Errors in transcription may have occurred. Where counties were not given in the original (or appeared to be inaccurate based on my personal knowledge), I have enter counties from a modern atlas or a cursory internet search. 1481 Mary McCone indicates: "I know the info. is exactly correct. You're not the only one who's mother and grand-mother kept a b/d book. I had a grandmother who wrote things in the margin on a book, around the corners, etc. and an aunt who knew who everyone was." Her information is probably as good as a large part of my information obtained from my mother and grandmother -- most of which seems to be accurate when compared to source data. Source: Mary McCole, Communication:
